Thought I would share a little vid, cabin side foam removed, car sounds beautiful when on full chat (to me was a bit mute before)

Have took the same side out and it sounds awesome it can be a bit addictive

I think someone may have already removed mine as the drone in the cabin sounds just like that and it really annoys me, having a nice exhaust note is one thing but a tube running into the cabin so that only the occupants think it sounds 'sportier' is almost as sad as fitting fake dump valves and electric turbo's from ebay to make your car sound like it's turbo charged! :thumbsdown: lol

Sounds great, its top of my list of mods to do, I think that its a very inexpensive mod that enhances the driving experience loads.

as for the nay sayers - Ferarri, Lambo, Porsche and AM all pay extremely close attention to the sound that is generated into the cabin, using filters, hifi, sound deadening.

That BMW built this element into its cars shows that they are tuned in to their customers, and the fact that customers can opt to not use it allows them to make that choice also .....

It's each to their own, I personally am not a fan but thats just my opinion of course.
