2.5si n52 upgrade

Hi was thinking of having a remap to gain a bit more power. What are the diffrences between the 2.5si snd 3.0si both have the same engine apart from the ovious. Could i use parts from a 3.0 and remap to better my 2.5si
 
I think the extra capacity of the 3 litre is obtained from a longer stroke as opposed to a bigger bore, so it would be a big job to change the crank/rods :(
Possibly cheaper to sell up & buy a 3litre si?

a re map on a normally aspirated car wont give any noticeable gains its mainly for turbo charged engines unless your planning other upgrades like cams exhaust headers/system ect
 
2.5: 82.0 mm 78.8 mm 11.0:1
3.0: 85.0 mm 88.0 mm 10.7:1

Buy another one, forget the remapping you won't see any gains, and an engine change is not worth the hassle!
In all honesty you'll get more performance for your money on tuition than upgrades :)
