Hi All,

Anyone done this and also anyone have one for sale or know of anywhere that does them??

I am guessing, but could be and probably am wrong, but are they the same as the N52 engine of the E46??

Thanks in advance  ,

Phil

Hi Phil,

The E46 never came with the N52 engine. The E90 series did, the 323i had the N52B25 engine and the 325i had the same until 07 where it changed to the 3.0 N52B30 I believe. I'm not sure if the downpipes are the same as the E85 2.5si however. Worth checking realoem.com to see what the differences are with each cars OEM system.

Cheers

Cheers Greg, learn something new everyday!! I was sure my 3 series 325ci m sport was a N52 but obviously I was wrong.
I just want a nice sounding exhaust without the drone etc and just thinking keeping the exhaust stock with a de cat would make it sound better but not loud with a performance gain even if slight.

Ill have a check,

Cheers

They dont exist.

I spent a lot of time looking into this, The N52 engine has the cat built into the manifold.

Nobody makes a decat manifold for RHD cars, I was looking at getting one built, but it was £2k+
