Hi, I have a 2007 2.5si, only had it 2 mths but love it plenty quick enough for everyday driving! I'm getting good fuel in the high 20's with air con off, but roof has been down a awful lot lately the tapping noise only really happens with short journeys so make sure you give it a good run out !

The tapping noise isn't necessarily related to short journeys. My old car only ever did 25 mile plus journeys and it happened. I don't think there is really a pattern.

Have you looked at this one ? Unusual wheels, 3.0si, good spec, low miles and in your neck of the woods.
