Montegro blue....with black leather
Look out for those fitted with the "ultra-rare" 16 inch alloys
Mate that with a 150bhp 2.0 4 cylinder engine and uve got a peach!

I recently swapped my 2003 2.5 Auto roadster for a 2008 3.0si Manual and what a difference. I loved the first one, but wow! Apart from the added features, spec, etc. the 3.0 feels sooo much quicker and is much more fuel efficient.

I just got a 3.0SE recently and WOW, the 3.0 is a seriously quick car with not bad economy. In my opinion Silver with a black roof and black interior is the only combo to go for. If you buy the 2.5 you will be wondering what a 3.0 feels like, similar to me now wondering what a Z4M is like  .

To me a the 3.0 does'nt feel that fast in a straigth line...It may not have massive BHP at 231..but it's free reving and really torquey and linear...Nice engine,It's actually faster than it feels because it's so smoooooth.

Had a proper race with a 350z the other day (first gen with 276) and it was dead even upto about 60-80mph pulled about 2 car lengths on me upto 130mph...on a private road of course

It's surprisingly fast ...

Hi buddy iam also a newbie and asked the same question. I also
have had a TT and for the five yrs I've had it it's been great.
When I looked for a TT I had the decision of a 225 bhp or a 150bhp.
I knew that if I got the less powered one that I would always regret
not going that extra yard for the "top" one. This philosophy
I've used in my Z4 search and yesterday put a deposit on a 3.0 coupe
so you know what my advice would be.

3.0 si Sport Coupe, black sapphire, 108's, auto/manual . . . . . . . no brainer . .

Of course I may be slightly biased

Like some said: you'll always get used to power, just don't buy a car that's less powerful or feels slower than your previous one...

Anyway, my advice is: make a list of the things you absolutely need to have. For instance, I needed :

- 6 gears
- a 6 cylinder engine
- low mileage
- a pricetag of under 20k€
- bought from a BMW dealership with a 2 year warranty

Really helps making a decision and narrowing things down... then you go from there, visit your dealers, go see and try until you find the one you wanna buy...
