New details added, please see below.

Tis with a heavy heart that im placing this up for sale, but common sense needs to prevail so time to move on. I will follow up with photos and better info but during my ownership ive put over £1000 and about 1000miles on it (currently 83100). Brand new MOT last week with no advisories, located in Suffolk and below is the original ad from when i purchased the car off a fellow member. Im looking for £3700 which i will attempt to justify with a more upto date description later on today.

Sad news.
I thought you’d been quiet?

If it helps at all, I can vouch for this car and the quality of maintenance it has had.

Hi Martin,
Yes, things all went massively sideways not long after we last spoke. I now dont get the chance to use it so its sat gathering dust. A crying shame especially as over the last year the only mileage i put on it was going back and to from the MOT station!

Ok, apologies for the delay. Right, once i bought the car and got it home it was fairly obvious that although in very good condition on top, below was a different story and was quite tired from lack of TLC. Thankfully it was still lockdown so cue placing my credit card on speed dial with autodoc and some very long evenings spent on my back in the garage sorting things. Numerous parts including lower front plastic quarter panels, brakes inc stainless hoses and every bush/joint/bearing i could get to without actually dropping the lower chassis. Followed up with new belts/tensioners/water pump/alternator/battery and finally new bilstein B4 Dampers all round again with new bearings and damper mounts. Rear was the same story so new bushes all round including trailing arm front bushes. Finally a 4 wheel alignment done at approved dealership...twice. The story being when i picked the car up, the tech wasnt happy with how the car handled at extremes and i had to agree with him. Although everything was in alignment something felt off. So poly bushes went in to replace the supposedly new lollipops and what a difference. Quick recheck on the alignment and all was well! Last year was the damping lining in the front doors - massive difference.

So lots of money and time spent putting the car right and its now good to go requiring ZERO work.

Offered with the following bits for the next owner. Outdoor cover, Meyle HD front trailing arms, calipers, discs and pads to upgrade the front brakes, and rear speaker mount covers to replace the cubby holes. Plan was to fit a fancy stereo with subs/amps etc. to accompany the new stereo head unit with phone capability. Original stereo unit will be given to the new owner. Photos added for interest and any questions, please fire away!PXL_20240609_115623430.jpg

Looks a well sorted Z for someone- shame you have to sell.
Just out of interest why is the inside of the front panel orange?

It is a shame and trust me, i had zero intentions of selling hence all the work.

Thats a red oxide primer before i coated it in 2 pack epoxy.

So you're aware those rear tail lights are worth quite a bit of money (£200+) and quite hard to find in the UK. They're easy to swap out for standard tail lights which you can likely source for around £40.

Good spot Rob.

I have a good pair of standard lights here if you want to swap those out.

Not later model mate.
These are a modified style for OCD owners who can't hack the single reversing light. :D
The headlights are facelift.
So are the side repeaters as pre-facelift were amber.

Aahh ok. Tbh at this stage of things i really cant be fussed changing out lights. Hopefully it all helps to entice someone to buy it :D

OK, well if you do decide to sell the rear lights separately let me know and I'll drop over a pair of standards for you.
Only about 20 minutes to swap them.
