2.5 Automatic - Sport Button

Hi all,

Just a quick question - as the manual isn't very clear...

I've got a 2.5 automatic, and just wondered whether pressing the sport button does the same as knocking the gear stick to the left, or whether there are any differences in features. Both display SD on the dash, but wasn't sure if one had more impact.

The sport button will also firm up the steering and alter the throttle response too, whereas just going left won't. Effect on gearbox will be the same though - start in 1st, hold lower gears, etc.
