2.2 exhaust system/decat

hi guys

looking into upgrading my exhaust, I currently have a 2.2 se roadster e85 2003

im going for a quad schiedmann backbox im just wandering what to do in regards with the rest of the system. im not too clued up on them due to switching from a VW recently. I was thinking a decat and to gut the silencers. I have been reading that the cats are in the manifold and hard to get at without huge effort and cost. have also been reading you have to be careful not to lose back pressure.

Does anybody have any advice/examples of what they have done?

looking for power and sound, with power being a priority with a remap afterwards.

heres my Quad conversion i had done a month or so back, at EMP Performance in St Albans

mines a 2.0i 2008 so might be slightly different to yours underneath

looks good man, does it sound nice? is the t-piece from the back box functional?

it sounds sweet! and yes both functional and fumes come out of both, slightly more on the main, left side but on a cold day u can clearly see both are functional :D
 
Jingle, if I get a Z4C I'm going to get a quad exhaust and use same people you did. Can you guide me on the valance etc and where you got it from, painted etc
