2.0 oil leak

Just getting my BMW Z4 2.0i, but there's an oil leak in the engine, affecting emissions, so it didn't pass its MOT, I've heard that it might be the rocker cover gasket and stuff like that, how would I go about finding where the leak is?

You didn't ask the tester?

Any EML?
Have a look around the engine bay, clean it up if necessary. The common culprits are: oil cooler gasket, but to affect emissions rocker cover, oil filter gasket, possibly oil cap.
