had a my Zed a month now so.....

tried to replace my whip, sheared the bolt had to get a new base, but got my stubby on and its a huge improvement!

bought a set of HIDs, ballasts were faulty had them replaced and finally fitted this morning

Leds replacing everything (second set purchased as sides gave off bulb error)

Aux cable fitted

Machine Monkey gear knob fitted

loving the car in general tho, dont think its a patch on my TT tho, but whenever i get the chance to take the roof down all is forgiven!

having a problem with water at the mo (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=51093)

and i hate the clutch, so hopefully getting it removed ASAP

make me wonder with the CDV and Runflat tramlining why so many people wanted them after the initial test drive (i was well aware it could be sorted so didnt let it bother me)

Next on my list is new wheels and stereo (loving the thread on a double din set up!)

(i know this thread is useless without pics will get some up soon as its washed on my day off!)

I struggled with slow speed 2nd gear engagement for a bit and really thought about doing the CDV delete. Gave it a few more weeks though and frankly I now can't remember what I was fussing about. Just took a bit of getting used to.

Likewise with the runflats, though I found making sure you have the right pressures helps massively with this.

Mk1 225 (they seem to come with everything as standard -heated leather. Xenons. Air con. Quattro. Bose stereo.)

Really love the Zed tho. And now the weather is better driving round with the roof off makes it all worth while!!

Yeah I had one too. Longest I've ever owned a car @ 3.5 years.

Loved it but like everyone says, just a mk4 golf in a frock.
