Well drove the Z to work this morning. All the guys were owwing and ahhing over it, and have had 3 customers ask me about the little silver car in the parking lot. Not a single person yet has known what it was till I told them, but they all love it. When I started car shopping I was looking for something different to replace the cobra, something you don't see everyday around here. I think I can call it mission accomplished! :thumbsup:
 
it's the best feeling in the world.

i had some grandpa talk to me about his cars as soon as he saw me pull into the 7-11 parking lot. all i wanted to do was buy some blunts.. but it turned out into a car talking session. anywaise.. zed's are beautiful*

slightly contradictory to this, ive just bought a runaround this week to use for the commute, and Im permanently confused as to people AREN'T looking at me.. i guess thats what happens when ur used to driving a red Monster =)
 
Yeah I still get alot of comments about the car. So far all positive (knock on wood). I've been a minute or two late to work due to people chatting with me as i'm going to get in the car :D

#1 question from other guys: Picked up any girls with it? I laugh and say hell no, I haven't gone slow enough to even look at them :driving:

Do you get looks or what in the Z.

Most interesting recently has to be driving on the motorway when a Mercedes Mclaren SLR catches up with me (not that I'm suggesting that was much for it and it probably could do it in second).

He hoverered on the rear right hand corner then cruised alongside. Being LHD we mutually checked out drives, while I of course was overly impressed with his bit of kit without trying to show it. We did the bloke acknowledgement bit then he simply vanished down the road.

I'd like to say into the sunlit distance but this is England - so it would have been damp, wet and cold and he'd have vanished into the spray.....

I was impressed that someone in such a supercar would consider the Z with it's hartop on to be sufficient to warrant the look.

- Right that's it for me for a couple of days - have to go to work - Madrid - so no doubt I'll have a Seat Leon hire car to drive.....lol
 
My MC gets more comments and looks than any other car I have owned. The Tuscan S I had would turn heads, but people knew what it was so didn't seem to come over as much when I stopped.

The MC gets people asking about it, what it is, how I find it etc, and the number of times I've walked back to it in a carpark and found people looking around it, or just walking away from it is astounding!

Never expected it to generate so much interest!
