Hi All

Well, i've had "Chloe" 3 days now, and the sun was shining so gave her a good clean inside and out today. 1st clean she's had from me!

Put some Autoglym leather cleaner on too, although doesn't seem to have made much difference.

And my ZHP gearknob arrived from Cotsworld BMW this morning, so fitted that once i'd finished cleaning, and took her for a quick "hoon" as you guys say, with the roof down :) Few pics below:

very nice  needs bigger alloys though.

with regards to the leather cleaner, did you use a brush/toothbrush to agitate it? it's far superior and getting right into the leather and lifting the dirt, compared to using a cloth. i also use gliptone liquid leather cleaner and conditioner which done a fantastic job on my leather. your's looks in good condition anyway

did you fit the aftermarket cd player yourself? if so, what fascia did you use?

Fascia was already in the car when I brought it, so not sure which one it is. I was going to put my Pioneer HU in, but the Alpine is growing on me so will give it a couple of weeks and then decide.

Thanks for the advice on the leather cleaner. I only used a cloth, didn't think about a brush. The seats aren't bad there's just a couple of bits that i'm not happy with, mainly on the drivers side bolster.

I was debating whether or not to use my pressure washer as i didnt want to soak the roof. But I did use it in the end, was just careful not to spray it directly on the hood. And it dried really quickly in the sun, so waited half an hour before putting it down for my hoon!

Lovely clean zed there my friend  these cars a such a joy to clean.

I have some very cheep 19 wheels if you want to give them a try?

Dasies?
Your wheels, although im with Ben you need bigger, slam some 19" bad boys on her :D

I will go bigger eventually, but I can live with these wheels for now, and I want to get some use out of the brand new pirellis. Seems a waste to store or sell them.

Oh, and I am looking at Stubbys on ebay. So much choice, not sure which one to go for? I did unscrew mine today to see if it would come off easy enough and it did. So presume I will just screw a shorter one onto the existing base rather than replace the whole thing?

What style? What price? And do they come with tyres?

As you can see it doesn't take much to talk me into something :)

They are e92 ///M 3 replicas they are in ok condition apart from one witch is cracked. No rubber I am afraid.

The price is the princely sum of £100.

I doubt they are for you. But I could probably let you have my run flats when I change for next to nothing. They are all legal. But RFTs on 19" wheels are bone shakers! Can't wait to get rid.

But if you where desperate for 19s on a budget ???
