1M

Thats very nice  had a white one go buy me on the M4 the other day they look great, my 123dcoupe went well so can't think how much better that must go and it has a really good look with the flared arches and CLS wheels, quad pipes NICE :driving:

Looks superb

They're doing so well as well residual-wise. Great choice.

I'd be interested in a comparison between that and the Z4MC when you've had chance to properly drive it. :)

x2

Like the Z4MC the low UK production numbers will be massively helping current residuals (although, unlike the Z4MC, the limited production numbers, rather than initial lack of interest, will be sure to help residuals going forward also.)

I really like the look of the 1M. Despite what others have said about the interior build of the 1 series i think the inside is great but purposeful too.

What sort of mpg does it return compared to the Z?

Cheers aquazi. Only driven 250 miles in her so far but the OBC reads a similar amount, 23.5. Will feedback with more deets soon as I know...

These cars are superb

I was behind one a few weeks ago and the rear arch/wheel width was bordering on comedic, in a good way.

A proper M car with (as above) bullet proof residuals

Oh my ... that is just beautiful.

That pic prompted me to look at prices of used 1's here, and yep ... they sure do seem to hold their value well. Not over the top, but good solid resale.

Very, very nice.

Looks solid, would love to see the interior as and when you get chance

These are holding up incredibly well in terms of residuals , I see on pistonheads that owners are already talking about them in E30 M3 terms - I think it's premature for that the new M2 will have an impact when it comes out I'm sure particularly if it looks like the M235i Racing rendering http://mobile.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=28920. Alongside it the Z4M looks a bargin .

So although I think it will not remain as high it does show there is real market demand for this type of car .

So here's hoping for a great M2

Tim, I thought I recognised your plate from somewhere but couldn't place it... just found this thread and realised where now!

Met you at your recent 3 generations of M photoshoot - I was the chap who turned up later with the TT.

Having seen the 1M I can confirm it is an absolute peach in person!
