1M - 7 miles

I had a set of tyres on my Golf for 20 years without any cracking and passed the MOT each time no problem. Only done 10k on them but never lost any air / seen any cracks or anything.

That's because it never see the light of day :poke:

10k of light :poke:

Guess you did not have your reading glasses on when reading it :P

To be fair, you didn't specify so you could have done that 10k at night to avoid being seen in such a girlie car... :poke:

Have you turned into a woman or so? What happened to man maths - this is an investment you know :poke:

I have a set of wheels with road tyres for my Westfield which have covered only a few thousand miles over ten years. The car has always been kept in a garage, so no UV attack, but they are as slippery as hell now (well hell frozen over). There are no visible cracks or other faults but the rubber has clearly oxidised and hardened. The only additional consideration is the number of heat cycles that they have been through (they've had a very hard life). I have R888s on a set of light weight wheels and these are of a much softer compound so will be worn out before they die of old age

I have no idea to be honest, I insured it guaranteed value but I may be way off.

Just a picture this week for the insurance renewal, all of £80 :D

Well, thank you :D

Just ordered a new front emblem for it, the existing one the chrome is not perfect as I am Jonny Essex about it, a new one has been ordered for a rather steep £35 (a MK7 emblem is only a tenner …).

I don't know for sure, but I'd guess it wasn't much less new ? That's mad though, buying a car like that and then not driving it... Not even taking the wrapping off. For literally years. What a waste...
Who owned it.... TitanTim?

Nah it's too leggy for one of his!!

Always been a big fan of these and it is amazing that it has only 7 miles on it, it would make a great lottery win purchase for sure.

Well it looks very well kept and the slightest imperfection would drive me mad! It is a bit pricey for a emblem but well worth it
