19x8.5 ET40 / 19x9.5 ET 50 on an E86?

Apologies for asking yet another ‘Will they fit’ question, but may have found a lovely set of forged, lightweight 19’s and trying to work out if they’ll work on an E86!

Fronts should be fine with a 225 35 19 but you have a very fine line on the rears you would be needing a spacer of 10mm / 12mm to get the rear of the wheel out from the strut but at the same time 10mm would mean the wheel face effectively sat 20mm out from where a factory MV2 or 108 sat , which is fine but adding a 15mm-20mm spacer would be too much yet no spacer not enough

So the standard MV2 is 18x8.5 ET 50, the fact that these are 9.5 ET 50 puts tthe inside of the wheel 1/2 inch closer to the strut? Or have I got that wrong?

Seems there are plenty of options for 10mm hubcentric spacers..... so is it that I just need to factor in the extra cost for these or anything else I should be concerned about?

No issues running spacers , many already do , you might even get away without or just 5mm , you don't want them too far out as that looks as bad as too far in , possibly some trial & error with them (rears that is)

Thanks again, very tempted to pull the trigger on these.... they are ‘ Manhart Concave One’s ‘ forged, from Germany originally. Just been properly refurbished in a diamond cut and grey finish, look very nice and as much as I like the CSL look, just something a bit different

Looks like I’ll be picking these up Sunday evening.

Can’t find any photo’s of them on an E86 so bit of a leap of faith, but they look tasty to me

Mmmm, so I didn’t get that ‘I must have these alloys’ feeling when seeing the Manhart’s in the metal. The referb was very good, but not perfect, with the Lacquer coat being thicker in places then others.

In addition, despite being called ‘concave one’ the rear concave didn’t seem as pronounced in ‘real life’ as it did in the photo’s

Also, a couple of the wheels had quite a lot of balance weights on the back, which made me a bit nervous.

All in all a bit disappointing :roll:
