How you getting on with the Uniroyals are they just for wet or are they a summer tyre as well? Need new front tyres on mine soon and was going for the Goodyear eagle 1s before i saw this. Anyone had both? What do they wear like compared to the Goodyears?

I'm more than pleased with them & won't hesitate to buy again , grippy,quiet & plough through standing water without a twitch . Can't comment on wear rate as only done 1200 miles so far .
My son also fited a set of 4 to his R32 & noticed a massive step up in comfort & grip from the Falkens he replaced
Quite a few are running them on the 5series forum & would buy again ,
As mentioned on another related thread Uniroyal have been owned by Michelin since the 90s :wink:

Blimey - to my shame you've done more miles in your Roadster in the short time you've owned it than I've done in the last year!

I am burning fuel for fun with this car any excuse & its out of the garage making this "weekender" more "anytimeof theweeker"

Its smiles per miles though Pete , the only negative being the tally on the odometer which will take me to over 80k
but i haven't bought it to look at

Decent rim protection wih them , not shown too well on mine as i went 235 wide on 8.5 rim .
My son has the same Uni's 235 on 8j rims . I will take a pic of his tomorrow if you like

I just got 245mm tires on 8" wide wheels. Looks nice, works great, no wheel rash.

235 fronts , would have chosen 8j if i could but 8.5 & 9 was how the set came
The more miles over different surfaces & in different weather i know you won't be disppointed with the tyres , can't worry them at all .
This is my son's 235 35 19 Uni RS3 on a 8j rim

Haha , as tyres go these are a thing of beauty no end of detail to them including tiny little markings in the rain grooves supposedly mirroring a sharks skin ,

also super grippy in the dry though so not strictly a bad weather use tyre

Pretty sure you can get the CS lites in 18's 19's or 20's .
