I would have said Karate Kid, but that was 84 I believe... mmm, gotta be Return of the Jedi I guess

Wargames with Matthew Broderick I remember it well. And I was living so far North at the time I don't actually think E.T. made it their until 1983 either :)
 
Dont worry Wondermike. In SA we get movies about 10 years later. Maybe thats why I thought flashdance came out in the 90's. :D

wargames a classic "lets play Global Thermonuclear War."
 
Wargames was cool.. especially because straight after it was on TV all the kids in school changed their password to JOSHUA... oh the fun!!!
