I've decided to sell my MG and concentrate on my Stag for the summer. I realise this is an unlikely place to find a buyer so the ad will be very brief. If anyone is genuinely interested please reply and I'll put more photos and details up.

it's 1972, 1275cc. Blaze in condition 2. Drives great, stops well and looks pretty good too. Its ready to be used but has a little room for tinkering if wanted. At most a new hood, one interior side trim, under bonnet tidying and connect the oil gauge.

If I can get photo bucket to work properly i'll stick a photo or two up.

looking for £5495. Decent Z money I know but old cars are rising in value at the minute.

Look very nice Mrs G would love that. She has our son's Red Mk2 Mx5 lined uo as her next runabout though.

Good luck with the sale.

Nice looking Midget and a good investment too. No road tax to pay and cheap on fuel, a really good way into the classic car scene. I have to many projects at the moment.
Right time of year to sell, GLWTS

Nice MG.

Before I got the Zed, I had 1 '74 Stag, which I loved, but it just wasn't practical for the usage I needed. Do miss the V8 noise though..

A 1972 Midget, in blaze, was the first car I ever owned. I bought it in 1975 and it saw me through 4 years of very happy motoring, when it worked. I can remember replacing quite a few parts.

If I were not twice the girth I was then and a lot more flexible, I could have been tempted.

Shouldn't the sills be black?

Yes that's correct the lower edge should be black but the PO who restored the boys had them painted body colour

Shame I missed this - on the look out for a Midget / Sprite currently to have as my second weekend car...

if the sale falls through I'll let you know

buyer has paid by cheque which clears tomorrow, obviously he hasn't taken the car until the cheque is clear!

cheers
