1971 Citroen DS

One of the local taxi firms had one and used it to pick us up after a night out clubbing when we were in our late teens. Lovely smooth ride with the hydropneumatic suspension system.
 
Partly brought up in France and just so loved these cars. So far ahead of their time and now uber cool.

Would have a soft top version of this in an instant, but could never afford one....
 
Remember driving one of these at my first job @ Hertz Leasing (At least I think it was one of these).

Certainly a big old french barge.

The brake pedals on these early French cars were hilarious - Worked a bit like an anchor :D

I lived in France for a while many years ago and got to drive a DS 19 I believe it was. Never could get the feel of the brakes to make a smooth stop.
 
Yep - beautiful car and I like the 'French' ride quality.

The C6 had a heads-up speed display and reminded me of the DS.
