For me, cars don't come any finer than the Ferrari 250 GTO

I've had a 'bee in my bonnet' about this car since I saw one in the paddock at Oulton Park in 1983...a truly unforgettable moment. I was 17 and getting heavily into cars and motorsport whilst studying engineering at college. Those 10 minutes walking round that car, photographing and studying every detail are etched into my memory. I can smell the hot metal and Castrol R even now ! So as Frank would say 'I got you under my skin' and as the years have passed I've had countless posters, prints and books about my dream car.
The news then that #4153, a never crashed 1963 car and one of 39 ever built (or 36 depending on who you believe) has just changed hands for £52 million has left me absolutely staggered ! An utterly bonkers amount of money !! Not a bad return on the £13,500 or so it cost new.
