Real cool - I saw this on TV the other day with the guy who had restored it. Seems they've not really restored as such rather just put it back together. IIRC nobody will even turn the engine over until the new owner has it.

What actually amazes me is the poor condition of the seats after only 20k+ miles. Granted garages but they seem to have dropped to pieces, Maybe the stitching just collapses after 40 years.

I did check the forum to see if it had been posted but the title "Barn find" didn't register as I only looked at the titles! Better pics on this post though!

Z4 seats will prob look like that after 10 years!! :roll:

Agreed. It probably won't fetch much more with it properly restored, but I'm sure the rich bloke that wins the auction will do their own proper detailing.

Defo could use some Zaino. 8)
