19” Tiger Claw fitment and coilover advice please

I’m going to buy some 19” staggered tiger claws on Wednesday. Have any of you lovely lot had any experience fitting them? I’m wondering if I’m going to have to run spacers to get width/stance of it right to make them fill the arches and not look sunken in the arch. Also I was hoping just to get away with fitting lowering springs (I’m seeing most are about 30mm drop) but I’m worried incase that isn’t going to be low enough to close the arch gap. If I have to run coil overs will I need spacers not to just fatten the arches out but for the wheels to not foul the coilover shock body.

So basically after all that waffle;

How do tiger claws sit without spacers

If I need spacers what thickness front and back

Will springs be enough to close the gap or need coil overs

Do I need spacers to clear the coilover bodies

Do I need spacers to clear the coilover bodies - yes - as above 15mm all round


I fitted style 132s which are the same offset n widths as the tiger claws. Had them fitted about 24 hours - they were so heavy the car drove like a builders van, so took them off , sold them & fitted some Style 32's from a 7 series n never looked back!

You'll need 225/35/19 fronts and 235/35/19 rear if you wanna go ahead :thumbsup:
 
Aw Jamie you’re talking me out of them here 🙈 just with you saying it drives terrible with them fitted 😩

And 1000rr where are you located cos if I pass on these I could maybe sort you out with them. They’re full refurbished with almost as new tyres for £550

Yeah honest. Car felt slower, less reactive to steering input etc, just not good at all.

Only my opinion like but I've probably had close to as many sets of wheels as Mr Wilks and they were the worst of the lot on the car imo.

Id fit them first with some 5mm spacers on the rear & 15mm fronts - just get a feel for them before you spend £££ on coilovers/springs etc - just give you an idea - I might be being pedantic but I just really didn't like the drive.
