Will I need to lower my Z if I purchase 19" rims or will it look like a 4x4 w/o a drop? I recently purchased a used 05' Z4 3.0i and I'm debating on 18" or 19" CSL replicas. :D

I have 19" rims and yes... i think mine looks a little bit like a 4x4, so this thursday it's going to be dropped

As you have a 3.0 you most likely will have sport springs which lower the car 15mm.... Atleast that's the case for all prefacelift 3.0in the uk.

I have 19's on sport springs.... Don't look that bad, but would look better lower.

Thanks guys!

DJ-Fille,

Bad-ass ride and bad-ass site  Any issues with rubbing?

Aquazi,

I've noticed the slight drop with our 3.0. Do you have pictures I can see of your ride? What wheel/tire combo are you running? Any issues with rubbing?

Thanks again guys!

Not very good angle to see the wheels... but only one which i have the link handy

VMR710, front 19x8.5et40, rear: 19x9.5 et45, with 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear.. no rubbing even on full lock.

Not the answer you are looking for, but as food for thought here is a picture of my zed running 19" VMR V710's the same as Aquazi but combined with Eibach springs, so dropped by 15mm (I specced the M Sport Suspension, so 15mm lower than stock to start with).

The tyre to arch gap does vary upon how level the road is and therefore how the Zed is sitting.

Drop it...

like its hot........................sorry couldn't resist. and yes, drop it. For the relatively small outlay the look it gives is worth it.

Wow, thanks a lot guys! I'm going to drop it like it's hot lol Thanks again and as always you guys pulled through for me.
