19 inch rim sizing question

I have a 2006 Z4 3.0i (non-Sport). I am thinking about upgrading my rims to 19" Moda rims MD-1. They are 19 x 8.5 with 40mm offsets. I will also be purchasing Goodyear Eagle F1 All Seasons (235/35ZR/19). I will be ordering the above from Tire Rack. Although I trust Tire Rack, I'm wondering if these rims will not fit, particular the fronts? If there is any chance of rubbing issues, I'm okay with getting 18" rims instead.

I'm an amateur when it comes to rim, tire sizes and offsets, so please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

19's definatley fit and with bigger tyres too but I can't remember the standard offset, my car came with 235/35/19 fronts and 265/30/19's on the rear as standard with a 3.0 back axle and front hubs but my standard set up it long gone!

^+1 it's not about 18 or 19" for fittment...
it's about rim width and offsets

here are a couple of calculators that will help,
1. selecting +1 +2 wheel sizes with tire combo to keep the overall DIA close to OE
2. good for checking offset shift

but you still need to know OE specs and how much you can deviate from OE spec.

You can measure inside clearance from you OE setup to point of interference
& measure wheel to fender lip to get the outside clearance.

& It really helps to dig around for other members specs to see what they did....

In that case my standard rim width is 8.5 front and 9.5 rear but I still can't remember the offsets. Sorry!
