Morning all,
What’s peoples thoughts on M3/4 competition style 19inch wheels on an e86?
A friend has a set for sale with new F1’s…
Thanks,
Russ

Apart from the potential slight decline in ride quality going from 18s to 19s. Aesthetically, 19s look fabulous on the coupe. I'd say go for it

what are the widths and offsets of the new wheels? standard wheels on an E86 non M have quite a high offset, so... might wanna plug all the info into wiltheyfit.com to work out exactly how the new wheels will sit compared to the current ones.

Good shout! thank you for that :)

I’m not keen on the F series comp wheels. Look flat with no concave.
I prefer the CSL or CSL 359 found on the E92 M3 or 1M.

What about M4 CS wheels? Toyed with getting a set when I had my coupe, but ended up going matt bronze Bola B1.

They are lovely and would look great wit my Sliver Grey!!

The thing is these wheels are from a friend that used to own a tire shop, they are unused with brand-new F1 tires and at the price of less than the tires alone

Ah, I see. Well in that case, if the offsets work (or work with some spacer help), whats not to lose?! You can always sell on if they don't quite work out for you.

You would need to run a spacer in the rear for the Z4M. The offset on the F80M rear wheels is about 12-15mm inset compared to the CSL wheels. I think the F80M 18" wheels would look good on the E86.
