19" Hartge Alloys - Would they fit?

Hi,
Quick query for the wheel experts. I know someone who is selling his 19" Hartge classic style wheels. He says they are very rare & they have been recently refurbished. He tells me they come off a H5 E34 a few years back. They are 8.5 inch up front with a removable dish. 9.5" on the rear with a wider dish. There are a set of fairly worn tyres included in sale but will need replacing straight away.
He tells me all Hartge Rims come with an 82mm centre bore iirc and so they will need a set of Spigot rings to reduce down to 72.6mm or 74.1mm, thankfully these wheels share the same centre bore as all other Hartges and as such Hartge in Germany have sets in stock. He believes they are Et20 all round.

Does anyone know if these with some modifications would fit my Z4 coupe (3.0si)? I am guessing not. :( I will try and get a picture up in the next few hours so you can see what they are like.. 8)
 
I would think they will stick out too much. Mine were ET35 on a 2.5se and they were flush with the arches. Those will stick out a further 15mm

And yes, I think they will stick out too much.... :|
 
I had Hartge 16" on my last E30, love the style but not sure if they'll suit the Z or not, ET's is a little low, I was thinking of running with an ET30 rim on the front but even that'll stick out and just not look right

I spoke to the seller again (who seems to be an wheel expert) and he also agreed that they wont fit my Coupe. He mentioned stretched tyres and arch rolling but I definitely don’t want to go down that route. :o 8)

...Yeah sure, I'll put some BarryBoy tyres on and beat the s**t out of my wheel arches for a set of old refurbed alloys? He's an optimist I suppose :rofl:
 
At ET13 they will fill your arches,..... and any car parked next to yours :D .
 
You could potentually (spelling) make them fit it would involve milling mm off the rear of the wheel where it touches the hub to increase the offset i've done it on my 5er only 3mm off, mind you would probably be looking at around 15 but if there is enough material there its doable, a mate of mind is doing it to his by 8mm.

So depending on how thick the hub bit of the wheel is its a posibility.
