19" CSL wheels on M Coupe

Can I just check that with genuine CSL wheels and CSL sized tyres (235 front and 265 rear) that no spacers are required?

it depends which CSLs you have. The comp ones are smaller on the front and run 225s I think. But the standard ones that come off the M3 CSL are 235/35/19 and 265/30/19s

Not really sure what you mean by spacers. The OEM BMW recommended sizes fit with no problems, unless its a non M im not sure. I only no about the Ms.

If you want a slightly more aggressive look then I think 15mm spacers on the rear and 12mm on the front. But dont quote me, I like mine as is.

Mine is a Z4M Coupe, the wheels I am getting are genuine BMW/BBS CSL wheels NOT the CS wheels (fronts 8J rather than 8.5J IIRC).

I don't want to fit spacers, just wanted to check as I am about to pay around £2500 for wheels/tyres :cry: and want to KNOW they will fit!

Genuine CSL's with235/265 fit just fine without spacers or anything. Run them on mine for nearly five years.

£2500 whos screwing you!? mine cost me no more than £1600 with tires. Got mine second hand but in perfect nick not a scratch never been refurbed either.
 
I've been looking but not found what I want, some needed refurbish some needed tyres, you must have fallen lucky!

Tyres £900 (the Michelin PSS option, have looked at others but gone for expensive option!)
 
£900 for PSS is a good deal, I thought they were £1000 +

M3 CS fronts fit fine without spacers too as do standard M3 wheels, they just sit slightly more inward than the front CSLs 5mm iirc. Rears are the same.
 
Correct re the PSS, cheapest I could find them anywhere else was £1060 fitted, however, I found out that Costco have a 20% off 4 tyres deal on at the minute so I went in and ordered a set. £902 all inc.
 
One final question (I now have the wheels and tyres):

What pressures do you use in them?

I have gone for the CSL sizes of 235 front 265 rear.

I use 2.4 bar all round... Don't know how much PSI this is.
 
I've got 235/35/19, 255/35/19. I'm going back to 265/30/19 at the rear when i come to replace.

Had pilots on my 18s and bought Vredstein Ultrac Sessantas a fav on the forum. Completely transformed the ride of my car, no longer skittish feels great. Really like them slightly louder but can deal with that with the £400 saving.

I must say your coupe looks absolutely stunning!!! :thumbsup: I'm one of those Z4M roadster owners who can actually admit a coupe looks a little better then the roadster... :o No; I would not like to trade my roadster for a coupe... :wink:
