Looking to get 19"'s straight on the E86, i have got the car at a great price which gives me the budget.

Other than buying the wheels and tyres, do i need to buy eibach's and spacers?

Interesting in new or old (refurbs)

Many different rep sets out there , usually 8.5j & 9.5j , these are Riva 8j & 9j & "idej_jedi" has them on his coupe if you want to hunt down some pics
Mention the forum for free p&p

Either of the above fitment works fine providing the Et or offsets are not under 35 .

Once you have the actual wheel widths & offsets then tyre sizes can be worked out

i have ordered the 8 and 9 Riva from CM

Onto a Si Sport E86 I would be fitting 255 35 rears & 215 35 fronts .
You can get away with 225 35 19 99% of the time but on spirited drives possibly minor rubbing in bends on full compression .

On black circles i cant get any tires 19 215 35 .

I can get goodyear F1's
255 35 rear
225 35 front

with a 4 tyre money off offer. That acceptable?

Ill wait for the wheel guru wilks to come back before i do anything stupid.

Update*

Spoke to the nice chap at CM Wheels, they dont have any of the 8j 9j riva csl's anymore.

He recommended 8.5j (ET38) Front 9.5j rear (ET4)

He does them for £500 all in for the forum members.

235 35 19 front
365 30 19 rear

Does that make sense to anyone?

365 rear doesn't make sense - maybe just a typo on your post?

I'd stand back and wait for Mr Wilks to comment as the E86 wheel & tyre guru!

he said that the /35 or /30 is a % of the tyre exposure from the rim. so 30 on 265 and 35 on 235 is roughly the same. 35/265 he said would be thicker than the fronts. I have no idea its just what he said.

They're the exact ones I bought for my mates z4 coupe. I ordered him 225 35 19 front and 265 30 19 rear. This is how they look

As per Jamie's reply, don't go above 225 on the front. If you lower it, you'll get rubbing and it'll drive you mad...

That second photo of the black coupe really does look good. CSL's really do seem to suit the shape of the car. Having just got a black coupe myself and not being 100% sure about the current wheels, getting these is a real tempter!

Other than the obvious (they're bigger), is there any reason for going for 19's over 18's? I would have thought 18's would still look good and tyres will be cheaper.

Looney, love the Carbon Black of yours, if you get these wheels it will look amazing

Guys if i fit these 19's without lowering the car, IF i add Eibach or spacers in the future will i need to go a garage and get all the tracking alignment done again. If so i might as well just pay out for everything now.

Yes.

Do these CSL's from cmwheels come only in Hyper Silver? The originals were Hyper Black (also called Shadow Chrome). The Hyper Silver should be on the Competition 359. I'm thinking of getting a set for myself as well but I would really like the Hyper Black.

CSL Style wheel on the left in Hyper Black (Shadow Chrome) and the Competition Style 359 in Hyper Silver on the right:

I don't like the Hyper Silver, it's so plain looking compared to Hyper Black.. :|
