Hi guys, I realise there are tons of threads on this subject and have spent the last hour reading them however with so many thread replies and conflicts of interest I am confused as to what exact offsets I should have for a staggered fit of 19" CSL Replica Wheels.

The reps Im looking at on the bay are 8J on the front and 9J on the rear.

The Description says:

Front - 19x8 et34
Rears - 19x9 et37 - Deeper Concave

What offsets are people running?
I don't want my rear wheels protruding outside the arch as I am planning on lowering slightly.

I saw a thread on a black Z4 with 19 inch reps 8.5J front, 9.5J rear and his rear offset was 27 and they protruded outside the arch by about an inch I think and was causing a few problems and opinions. I don't want this to happen.

Your advice/help is very much appreciated! This is all a bit new to me offsets etc etc.

Thanks

EDIT - The wheels from this seller are also available in wider wheels with the following offsets:

Front 19x8.5 et35
Rear 19x9.5 et35

Would these be better?

Thanks for reply so you run

Front - 19x8.5 et35
Rears - 19x9.5 et35

Do these fit inside arches and don't protrude? Any pics of your wheels?

Thanks

Just a Quick Update for any Newbies like me after CSL wheels.

Dav above runs the second lot of sizes in my post. I have seen a pic and the wheels fit just within the arches and have no rubbing issues. They seem to fill the arches much better and if your planning on lowering slightly you shouldn't have any issues.

Is seems the tyres though to go for are:
225/35/19 as apposed to 235/35/19 as these will give a little more clearance.

Hope this helps any other newbies looking at this :-)

This will show you the comparisons between 2 wheels of differing width and offset:
http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp
The following will also show you the differences made by tyre sizes compared to your originals:
http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

I run the first offsets you speak of (34 and 37), my car's lowered and there are no issues...

i think these are from CMwheels i got a set from there they are amazing wheels great reps with nearly all the stamps, give them a call (Chris) and he'll do you a specail deal cheaper than his ebay listing
also when i spoke to him he had a different offset that just came in that fitted my car perfectly

Hi jttaylor,

Here isthe link to the thread from when I bought my wheels from BMAutosport. I'm not affiliated in any way but I would strongly recommend them.

Mine is on the standard Si Sport suspension which I believe is 15mm lower than yours.........
