No, profiles not right, with a staggered setup they should be the same.
With regards to rubbing, if you get the profile of the tyres right (rolling circumference / radius is the same as 16" / 17" / 18") it will come down to the offset and whether the wheels stick out. The size of the alloy wheel doesn't matter with the correct profile tyres.
