Anyone tried running a 9J front on an E89, specifically 18 x 9J ET 40, tire size marginally bigger than standard at 235/40/18.
Standard is 18 x 8j ET 29, will they fit suggests poke is about the same, but sit inboard by circa 15mm - not sure about strut clearance :?
Edit - ignore my rantings, looked at will they fit again and sit 23.7mm further in which (having looked at the car) suggests they’ll hit the strut.
