188 "Z4 Coupes" on PH!!!!!

Just flicking through the PH classifieds and I was staggered at how cars are listed as "Z4 Coupe".

188 listed, of which only 33 are actual E86 non-M coupés. In other words, ~82% of the cars have been listed incorrectly. The others made up of E85 and E89 roadsters, some ///MR's and ////MC's. It's not difficult to list a car advert correctly. Personally, if I was still looking I wouldn't buy from anybody stupid enough to list a car incorrectly. I'd have no confidence in their level of knowledge of the car or to relay me the correct information.

Naturally, the coupé is the best of the Z4 variants and I know E89 owners like to think they have the best of both worlds (you don't), but listing your Z4 as a coupé doesn't make it a coupé :poke:

Anyway, no real purpose to the post, but needless stupidity of some people really irks me.
 
think it's an issue with PH to be honest...it's never been anywhere near that bad and there are e89s and e85s all in the mix.
 
Some jurisdictions consider a Coupe as any car with only 2 doors.
Just a translation issue I guess

On topic, every time I search there's always coupes mixed in with the roadsters and vice versa. Must be PH more often than not.
 
I recently advertised my old 2.0 Z4 on there and when you put your reg plate in it defaults to Z4 Coupe unless you change it..

Ah ok, that's interesting (and somewhat silly on PH's part). Maybe my 'anger' has been a little OTT, just a pet peeve really.

I have a similar pet peeve about people putting SMGs in with the manuals (I know it technically is) but anyone looking for them won't be searching under manual.

Also having NOT X Y Z in the title too, for some reason they seem to think that people looking at an M3 will be interested in their 318 SE that looks like it's been driven through a Halfords. :headbang:

Oh dear that means people may not notice this automated error when they post their ad and they could be finding it more difficult than necessary to sell their desirable roadsters as they're hidden inside the tin top section where nobody goes. :poke:
