18" winter wheel/tyres ..thoughts

using my local fitter 4 x winter wheels and tyres £855 ish.
No doubt the wheels won't be very good quality.
Is there a cheaper alternitive wheel wise?
I think the nokian WR a3's for that price are pretty good.

I got my falkens last year for £130 each rears and the front £100.... In the standard staggered sizes.

Then some old 108's which i refurbed myself for £225.

Total cost £720 inc materials and paint to do the refurb.

Not a lot wrong with wolf race and you won't find much cheaper out side of used tbh. My brother ran some as winters a while ago and it took 3 or 4 years to start peeling even though they were all kerbed.
