18" vs 19" Wheels

Where do the cracks occur on the 19" wheels - can you see them without taking the wheels off?
Been looking at a car with 296s and RFTs on but I don't think the seller would be too keen on me taking all his wheels off to check them before agreeing a price!
If I bought it I'd change to 18s anyway as personally I think 19s look too big.

I doubt you will be able to see the damage without either taking the wheels off or putting the car on a ramp and looking at the rear part of the wheel that faces in.

It’s awkward, you’d be grovelling around on the floor with your head under the car using a torch - the car would probably have to be moved a few times to rotate the wheels around as well. It’s the inner rim that cracks at right angles from the edge :(
