18" rim options, show me yours

Once I get a few bits sorted for the M coupe, and get back from the usa im considering doing something with my rims, im pretty set on the 18" option as i would like to retain ride comfort and plus I like the fat tyre look. I have an idea in mind but I would like to see what other options there are. Feel free to list the spec of the rims and what other things you have with it, like springs and spacers as well. Plenty of pics as well

I need to take some proper pics at the weekend but I've just my MV2's refurbed and spacers put on which makes the car sit very wide now.
Will come back to you with some pics.

I know MV2's are a bit old hat now but they were on the car when it was new and I really like the design of them!

This is mine on ACS Type IVs - 18" 8.5 all round with 5mm spacers on the front and 12mm on the rear. Michelin Pilot Sports all round:

No they're lovely rims for the zed had them on my 3l in anthracite and they looked great, infact i get more people say they prefer them to the 224 i have now on the M

Yeah I did leave a comment on thread, they are lovely wheels and I think I see some on a e92 m3 but in silver and looked great, that's what made me ask you, they're cheaper then my main option so all good

It does look a bit high at the back, I'd just had it up on a jack and it hadn't settled correctly. Well chuffed with the look now, wife preferred the silver 108s, but each to their own

I originally fitted 19" csl to my old e86,but after a few days I was really disappointed with the ride & handling. :thumbsdown:
Supplier agreed to change them for 18" & what a difference handling sorted out for the better. 19" do look better but car drives far better on 18's. Here's my old e86 with 18's on

They do look mighty fine Jon , very much doubt there will be another E85 E86 with those fitted although i did do a set identical for a chap with a white E89 but he's not a forum member :roll: his loss

Thanks Ash, There are a lot of "samey" looking wheels out there, Ellipsoids are almost unique, there aren't many wheels that look anything like them
