18" or 19" on m sport ride height?

Hi mate. I'm really liking those wheels, I'm currently in the market for a set myself.

Are you still looking for some front brakes.?
I have a set of calipers and carriers from a 330 in the shed if your interested.

Hi mate yea I am, I've got a local breakers keeping an eye out for me for a set, but if you have a pair of fronts i would be interested, drop me a pm :)

My vote would be 18s for the ride quality, though 19s do look good.

You can get new callipers all round for £250 but that's without carriers.

oh and im pretty sure the B4s can handle the -35mm drop for the H&Rs but could somebody just clarify for peace of mind IF i decide to go down that route :D

thanks

From what I have read/understood, the B4s are suitable for the stock springs (non M sport). The B6 are stiffer and might/should be able to handle the M sport springs (15mm lower from stock springs). The B8 are even stiffer and have very short body for lowering springs with higher spring rates.

That's a good deal on the Suplex springs. Will be keeping them in mind to swap to when my own rear M sport springs go :)

i have 19" on my Alpina (not sure how different that is to m sport) - ride quality is fine..also to note tires make a difference also..

Hi Jingle Have you not tried contacting Suplex direct that is what I done when I found out my rear's were
snapped they was cheaper than anyone else

I have 19" 313M wheels on my 3.0i with M Sport suspension and haven't had any issues with clearances, rubbing etc.

oh and ill need new discs aswell, whats the biggest size i can go with the fronts on the 330 conversion?
With 330 calipers the optimum disc size is 325mm. Mine are 325mm slotted Brembo with 330 calipers and Redstuff pads.

thanks DLH, good info there :)

i took a quick glance at your rotors and thought they were on backwards.... a quick google and i now know about the internal "fins" that should aim backwards and not the pattern of the drilled holes or grooves on the disc face..... thats 1 for me to check on mine next time wheels off :poke: fingers crossed mine are correct and dont need swapping around lol

also thanks for the size confirmation, i was told 325mm were fine already, reassuring to have a 2nd confirmation
in process of getting some calipers of a forum member and then once cleaned up and painted ill look at discs, then low dust pads as brake dust is terrible on my current pads/drilled & grooved discs :headbang:
