I guess an honest description, seller promotes all tyres as legal at 3.5mm+ in opening post, prospective buyer travels 150 miles only to find a tyre down to the core which seems to be the story here.
That would upset most people I think regardless of post count.
That feels like a lack of transparency to me.

Bing said:TBH 3.5mm may be legal, but it won't last - or be safe - for long. And that 'scar' looks about 3-4 inches long, not deep and so could be touched in cheaply by a smart repairer. At least going by the photos. Why didn't the buyer just ask for a better price given the condition of the tyre ?
Mr Wilks has sold loads of sets of wheels and tyres on here and this is the first time I've ever read any negative feedback about his exploits. Just saying to provide balance.
