Hi guys.
I'm after a set of 18" wheels, to replace my current 230 wheels.
I've just purchased the car (collecting next week) and I've already started the hunt for a set of wheels.

I'm looking to buy or swap.

CSL look, Riva replicas?
224 M wheels would be my 1st choice.
A set of recently refurbished 108s?
I'm open to any suggestions or offers.
Based in Cambridgeshire.

More than willing to trade my 19" 230s in Ferric grey, although 1 needs a paint refresh, they're not perfect, so depending on the swap then I'll put the extra money in.

Does anyone have a set in the corner of their garage they no longer need??

Just curious about why you want to replace them?

Ride quality improvement going from 19s to 18s was negligible when I swapped from CSL Reps back to 224s on my MC.

But if you don't like how the 230s look you might as well get something else.

They look great from some angles but others I find them a little overwhelming for the rest of the car.

The main reason, though is our roads around here are horrible. Loads of jarring cracks, holes and just rubbish.
I find with taller rubber, it really helps.

I went from 19s to 18s on our 340i. My, what a difference.

I really like 230s, but then I did buy a set of 295s that look pretty much the same but are 18s for my previous E86 so I could sell the 108s while they still looked reasonable!

Interesting that going from 19s to 18s made such a difference to your 340i though.

My 19" CSL Reps had 265/30 rears but I've put 255/45 x 18 rears on my MC and the ride is still crashy. I think the H & R coil-overs may have a lot to do with that!
