18" Composite Star Spoke Wheels

Are the composite wheels on my new Z4 also called Split Rim wheels? I was looking for wheel cleaner at Halfords today, both Autoglym's Clean Wheels and Custom Wheel Cleaner are not suitable for Split Rim wheels. Why are they so different from normal alloy wheels? Is it to do with the bolts on the wheel? Other than BMW own product, any other recommendations?
 
Yes the wheels you have are split rims, I can only assume the wheel cleaner you were looking at was an agressive one.

Best thing to do is keep the wheels clean and waxed so you dont nee to use such products. I have used this in the past though http://www.motorgeek.co.uk/meguiars-rims-wheel-cleaner-p-38.html
