They are off the car and sitting in the garage, took the opportunity to clean then polish the alloys today, taking pics on completion.

I bought the front tyres in January 14 paying £120, receipt present. They are budget BCT S8800 225/40/18, obviously lots of tread left with no uneven ware, wheels were balanced last month, weight on the inside. Rear tyres were purchased Mar 13 paying £140, receipt present. They are budget Wanli S1088 255/35/18, approx 4mm of tread left with no uneven ware.

I have included various pics to give prospective buyers a honest insight to the alloys. They are in my opinion in really good condition with no immediate requirement to refurbish, there are NO welds or repairs on any of the wheels

I am based near Glasgow however delivery can be arranged at approx £40

Guys/Girls,

Would appreciate a little advice on pricing, am I asking to much as I have had little interest, or would it be better to get them on ebay/gumtree?

Is an ok price but due to the style of wheels & they do required a bit of TLC, I suggest as I'm doing with my 107's put them on ebay!

They will probably sell for more on ebay rather than on the forum as i'm not really sure anyone wants them these days...

Mine are mint and with good RFT i'm hoping for about the £450 mark...

good luck...

Ok mate / you did ask :( Tricky to price as the wheel,s & tyres are neither good or bad ? Tyres off & a refurb is minimum £200

The 107,s are very much a love v hate Z wheel so not much demand for these elsewhere

For the more discerning forum fellas I would say £250 would see some interest :? They are in need of some fettling & the tyres aren,t great tread or brand ?

Gumtree ? Doubt asking more than £275 will get you any interest ?

Ebay ? Bigger audience but more costly to sell ?

as mr wilks, says the demand is low.... think I might keep mine for winters if I don't get ok money :driving:

Maybe keep them for winter use? :?

Thanks for the honest reply guys, may change the price to £300 for a quick no hassle sale on here or Gumtree for a little more, ebay although more profitable, is a lot more hassle!

Thinking your going the right way to selling them, shame as I actually like them.... Good luck

I really like the ellipsoids but currently have other demands on my ill gotten. So, nice wheels but no thanks. :(

I've always liked ellipsoids, think they look good on roadies especially.
Hope you haven't scratched your front bumper leaning the wheels against it btw.......( one to get the OCD set in a tizz)

TM1703, thanks for the offer. I have two people interested outside the forum that may pick up this weekend at the asking price, can I therefore hold your offer until after the weekend? Where are you based?

Thanks

No Problem!

I'm in Huntingdon, just looking for some standard wheels to put on the car as it's unfortunately going in as P/X or selling as I've got a new car coming. Let me know if the others don't work out.

Thanks

Tm

Guy coming tomorrow am to view, should know by midday. I will be wishing £300 + delivery as they are £350 on Gumtree, have had more interest from that site than the forum, expect for two PM offers of £200 and £250 that I politely declined
