Wanted to know the opinion of Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs with my 17inch wheels as i'm keen to keep my wheels but get the drop on the car.
Will it be as effective?

Nosa did, has some pics somewhere too.

Not sure what you mean by will it be effective? It really doesn't matter what size the rims are, they could be 16" or 19", if you have the correct offset and size of tyres (profile) then the rolling circumference, external dimensions and position of the tyre will be near enough identical on each size of rim.

Not sure what you mean by "effective" but it improved the stance of the car, which lowering it would have done regardless of 17" or 18" etc, I did feel an improvement in the handling especially on the responsiveness on a turn in, BUT, i did have poly bushes fitted all round at the same time the springs were fitted so these would also have helped improve the drive as well.
Certainly had no regrets after lowering it (apart from the odd too high speed bump :headbang: ), I have now changed to 18" but have always wanted too and I hated my OEM 103 daisy wheels

Nosa, did you do yours yourself? Did you have a spring compressor?

monkadill, if you do get it done you really would be well advised to get a proper alignment done afterwards, on a Hunter machine... www.alignmycar.co.uk will take you to a local centre. Used to have a discount voucher on there too.

Lowering it on 17"s worked for me,, In the eye of the beholder I suppose, Never had any dissaproving comments anyway, Not even from forum members who have seen it in the flesh, and we know they can be harsh
