OMG,

Not even a week of owning and goes for a drive tonight no radio on, and the car sound like a bag of spanners at the back. As im driving in slow traffic ive got squeaks and what sound like rubbing of metal parts c& clatter.

Gets out and pushes down on the boot and sure enough squeak from the back as i push down. I then thought, i wonder if the transport blocks have not been removed.

But cant see anything, i took this pic so im sure you guys will tell me if anything looks wrong.

Ill be on the phone to the dealer in the morning, and while its in they can check the DCT. Maybe ive got a Monday morning/ Friday afternoon job.

Arch height does look high. The transport blocks go around the springs usually, can you see those? If not then post a pic of the car side on as I've got the adaptive suspension like the 35is so I know what the tyre to arch height looks like..

*****UPDATE****

Went for a 40 mile drive up the motorway and A/B road mix. Stopped halfway, all seems ok, no noises. So something has either warmed up and expanded or a good blast has cured it. Even when i pushed down on the boot, no squeaks etc. I'll know in the morning when i start from cold again.

Fell back in love with the 40 mile drive tho, dam its quick and exhaust sounds amazing.

Hi Guys,

Looked at my spec sheet and it says i have adaptive Msport suspension. So can some peeps with 35is measure the distance from arch to tyre gap. so i have info to go to BMW on Monday with.

cheers
