15 Years Today

As title says, I bought my Z4M 15 years ago today. God, where did that time go?

Won't bore you all with an essay, but suffice to say the car is pretty much the same as when I bought it, except for a ZHP & stubby :)

Recent expenses include a front end refresh with a bit of PPF, new discs and pads but the rod bearings are original, so I won't bother trying to sell it :D

It's holding up quite well for an old girl, think the next thing I'd like to do is refresh the steering wheel sticky plastic inserts, and maybe get it ceramic coated but other than that driving it might be a good start and get along to a few meets this year :driving:

Thanks again to the forum admins who give us all somewhere to come and spout rubbish about cars :thumbsup:

The car looks lovely. Congratulations on looking after it so well. I bet it has given you an immense amount of pleasure over those years. Only ‘anoraks’ like us on the Forum will understand and appreciate what I mean. :thumbsup:

Congrats and Happy Birthday to the old gel! Hope to see it and you at a few events this year mate - I've moved way oop narth now, so I guess it'll be one of the bigger more centralised meets now!

Aah we may do, I do still intend to take the M down to will for bits and bobs :)
 
15years here too flimp! best car ive ever owned and one that the most difficult to move on from , emotionally and financially! lol!
 
That’s a good stint! To many more miles :thumbsup: :driving: (I also didn’t realise the original Flimper actually has rear tints!)

I've seen it a few times and it has extended leather and power-fold mirrors too! :lol:
 
Congrats! Mine will have been mine for fifteen years this year too. I’ve covered a similar number of miles to you in that time, but I suspect those miles haven’t been as gentle and forgiving for mine as they were for yours :D
