So in just a little more than 2 weeks ...My 08 3.0 SI will be out in the cruel world with no protection.
Actually as a "Certified" used BMW it came with a drive train warranty for a couple more years ..
But the full factory warranty over here includes almost everything, including oil changes.
So I will miss my last free oil change by about 3000 kms
I am pleased with the car and the service it has received from my local dealership.
Only complaints were an off idle stumble and noisy exhaust lifters.
BMW replaced the lifters and the stumble has been minimized with better gas.
Currently Im monitoring the battery which after 5 years is showing some reluctance to perform at peek.
So ..Im looking for some input ...
Should I drop by and hope they do me a free slightly early oil change ?
Maybe get a last minute mechanical inspection ?
Or just let the warranty expire.
All good things eventually come to an end.
Any advice ?
