£130 worth it for a 2.5si sound generator retrofit?

I didn't know that & yes the exhaust does have a bit of a drone on a facelift, is it due to the N52 engine or is the actual exhaust system different in someway?

Seems I got this wrong! just been quoted £144.26 for rest of the kit that I didn't get! not so cheap now. oh well, may just buy an exhaust instead. :cry:
 
I've removed my foam and I do like the extra noise. It's only induction sound thou. A friend of mine was in the car the other day and asked why all the sound was coming from the dash.!!!

I'd spend the money on a gutting mod for the back box.!!
 
I took mine out and I do like the noise it makes when I hoon it (rarely). For me it was worth it for the bit of foam, which is handing from my garage roof as a reverse distance indicator. When it touches the rear screen I'm at exactly the right distance back. (Too far, can't fully open freezer. Not far enough, can't close garage).

lol, yeah I think I remember seeing a picture of your dangling foam before. Ingenious. :rofl:

The s/g retrofit (with one foam removed) has had approval from various ladies now, so I guess I should quit while I'm ahead!
