Could u keep your z4m for another 17 years and not go over 45k miles in it. I know I can't mines on 56k already!

I can't see why it's worth that money...

Yes, it's rare but not particularly low miles and I'm not sure desirability is at 100k +..

And I mean have you ever driven one?? I have driven a few and they are gash..

Crazy world of classic cars! How they actually drive never seems to come in to it, probably because they will never get driven anyway.
Its like the old air cooled Porsches, not that great to drive hence why there are now companies out there taking the older air cooled cars and endowing them with modern driving dynamics, I think Singer is the most high profile example.

The modern stuff is far superior to drive yet they are worth no where near as much.

911 fanboys will always keep the prices high...
And it was always a dedicated sports car, and although the old ones do feel antiquated they still drive well and feel light and nimble..
And I don't really like em, but credit where it's due..

Not like an E30 with a trumped up 4 banger in it..
But can see why the collectors want money in them..

Wait until the banks start giving us a few quid for our savings, then the classics will hit the floor once again.. :(

I remember not going to look at one years ago advertised in the local paper auto trader for £3500 because I thought it was a bit pricey :headbang:
