Not sure what I'll be turning up in.........hopefully Jag, possibly Porsche, probably Smart ForFour. :D

Looks like I'll be attending in an F-Type. Have just put down a deposit on a very high specced 2000 mile only 5yo V6s convertible in Firesand.
If all goes to plan I sould be picking it up in a couple of weeks. It's gonna be a long wait. :D

Nice one Jim.
Tradition dictates, if you're passing this way after picking it up :D :driving: :driving: :driving:

Only 2000 miles, that is low :-)
I will take Dave's shot of it,and won't make you regret it,lol.
They are nice cars to drive ,as well as look at. The Fires and Orange is a good choice in the Roadster/Convertible f type.....nice contrast with the black soft top.
Thought you were going to get a Coupe??

After 9 years of top down motoring I realised that I'd miss it too much which in the end steered me away from the Coupe and Cayman S.
I've actually bought this car unseen only going on the detailed video the dealership sent where I instructed them to show me any marks on the bodywork and there only appears to be a couple of stonechips which they'll rectify.
There are 100's of V6 F-Types on Autotrader but to find one with Performance Seats, 770w Meridian Surround + alot of other goodies and this low mileage are few and far between. A bit like the Cayman S....tons on Autotrader but not many with Sports Chrono,Sports Exhaust and PASM.
The dealer suggests it's been kept in a heated garage along with the owners other sports cars hence the low mileage.
Furthermore it's 20 days away from it's 5th Birthday so qualifies for the 2 year Jaguar approved used warranty.
The only other think the dealer was going to do was put 4 new Pirellis on which I thought was a bit odd as it had only done 2k. I'm guessing this is because it's been sat in a garage with little use. Would of changed the tyres myself for Michelin P4s but paid a £94 supplement for the Michelins which I'm happy about.
The car is in Carlisle hence I didn't go and view and I keep asking myself if I've done the right thing but hopefully should be all good.
It's going to be a long couple of weeks waiting though. :D

I am sure it will be lovely, and that v6s engine is a good one. They drive well near the limits, and the sports exhaust is throaty, and attention seeking on start up,lol.
You will love it.
Look forward to seeing you both :D
