i know how much you guys love controversy so after 10k miles, the error in the pic has popped up and i cant get rid of it.

was driving back from wakefield today and it popped up as soon as i got onto the m1. it stayed on for all the 65 miles home....... before any of you jump to the conclusion that its my run flats, i've checked the pressures and they were all fine. one was at 30 the rest were at 34-35

gonna take it to bmw tomorrow :poke:

Set all your pressures and then re-initialise the TPMS (see your manual).

That should sort it. Try that before you make yourself look silly in front of BMW.

If that doesn't fix it then yes go see BMW.

Keep your eyes on pressures though.. This issue comes up rarely in error.

That's not a tyre alert, it's the international warning that there's a shapely ladies bum nearby right?!

Mine decided to tell me my pressures were out on the M55 with the red warning not even an amber moment, pulled over, got out, and everything was fine! I'm not a fan of that feature. Causes more problems than anything useful.

Might be a dodgy TPM sensor or water thats upset it. I had this everytime I washed the Zed and reset it and it would be fine until the next wash. I was just about to take it in to the dealer and it stopped giving the warnings. Tyre pressures were always spot on. Have you tried resetting the pressure monitor and see if it comes back?

Tim.

lol remember if you reset it you will need to go for a drive to see if the warning comes back as its a rotational sensor.

ok, did the tpm reset and its gone away...... yaaaaaaay, i dont have to waste my time at bmw :D

cheers guys

hopefully it wont come back :D

Sigh, so funny.. Ok manual = owners instruction book!

C'mon he was taking it to BMW for a simple TPMS reset. If I hadn't said anything he'd get a funny look from BMW and a 'have you tried pressing this button sir' quote...

Im thinking if it's a Bum Warning ...
Well that looks like a flat arse warning to me ...
Or an arse with tire tracks ???
And Im not sure what that means but it can't be good ..

Maybe just for Euro Models ...
Lost in the translation ?????

Bumpy

Did you check the tire pressure?
Yes, a reset will clear the warning but not the existing problem.

I thought these things worked on a rolling radius / wheel rev counting basis. I dont think there is an "IT" to upset. :D
