108s Wheels size

Hello guys prob a dumb question to most of you but ... is there an easy way to measure the size of the 108s without taking the wheels off ie whether 8 or 8.5. have horrible feeling my rears have been fitted with 225 as i think this is possible. Cheers in advance Steve
 
I believed so but what i need to know is how you check without removing. I have measured from the back of the wheel to the edge of the lip of the star and i get half inch difference :? is the a correct or viable way of telling the different sizes. Steve
