108's finally fitted

After some issues with the wheels and timing over refurb and weather impact I have finally decided to put the 108's now with winter tyres on onto the ///M.

Fronts are fitted as normal rears have a 20mm spacer.

Looks good Andi, that pic you've put up makes them look very small but in some other pics they look good!

Looks stunning andy. Love the contrasting colours.

I remember your thread last year motivated me to get some 108's and refurb them for my winter tyres too.... Which i managed to get on for last winter, which has taken its toll on them... But they will be good for another winter.

I had to stand on a wall to get close enough for that pic so it is looking down on them. I think the others on Picassa look better in hat way. They are still 18".

If you're bored one crisp morning we could meet up and I could take a few pics? I've got a new tripod etc and I've been dying to take some car pics.

I'm surprised so many on here run them as winter wheels given how they're so prone to corrosion? Mine are terrible, toying with the idea of getting them refereed or moving onto something else.

Guess those that have had them refurbed stand a better chance though. :)

nice wheels but the aerial over shadows them

:D

I've gone back to a whip for now as well. Nice to actually have radio reception for a change!

These were cheap and badly corroded - which can still be seen - but have now been taken apart, sanded down, primed, painted and lacquered (lots) so they will hopefully last a while. Even if they don't last the life of the tyres they were a lot cheaper than the tyres

Nice and sunny this morning. As you know I'm pretty much available any time and the coffee machine is still working well.
